Xtreme Metal Assault festival – 2012

Dawn of Anguish is thrilled to once again be part of the XMA festival!

Date: 14th July
Venue: Buskett Roadhouse
Time: Doors open 4pm; 1st band 5pm
Entrance: €15

After the thrill of the 2010 XMA festival, the band unfortunately could not make it to last year’s edition due to having most of our efforts being diverted into the recording process. This year, however, we are pleased to once again have the opportunity to share the stage with so many of our country’s heavy metal bands, a number of which we are also glad to call our friends. Thanks also goes to the event organizer for the continuation of what has become one of Malta’s not to be missed events in the local metal community.

It has been some time since our last gig a the Valletta Waterfront Powerhouse in early 2011 and many have been wondering what has been going on with the band. Due to our schedule we have indeed been shying away from gigs over the past months. Nevertheless, a lot has been going on behind the scenes, recording our old material (more on that in another post)… writing new material… and, of course, working on our website!

Finally, after a long period of hard work, we are glad to announce dawnofanguish.com is up and running! This will give us the means to supply the best band resources for all those interested in keeping updated and in getting to know about the band and our music. We hope you enjoy our home on the internet and of coarse you are welcome to visit us as often as you like.
