2013 Malta Doom Metal festival

Malta Doom Metal Festival 2013Due to our busy recording schedule and also due to the temporary unavailability of one of the band’s guitarists (who will be stationed in the UK for most of this year), it has been difficult to start scheduling gigs for 2013. We will therefore very likely be constrained to keep it as short and punchy as possible for now…

… and what could have been more thrilling than to confirm Dawn of Anguish’s participation in this year’s Malta Doom Metal festival!!?! The wait for us will be certainly worth it! In this post we will include the info and updates related to the event as the festival approaches.

What else can we say for now… we are very very delighted to be part of this festival once again for what promises to be one of the best editions ever… we are LOVING the band bill this far and can’t wait for all the remaining bands to be confirmed!

(Gozo) Doom Metal Assault – Volume III

The band will be heading to Malta’s sister island Gozo for a creative weekend-break… actually to performing at the Mirage Underground rock bar in Rabat. A perfect excuse to spend a couple of days to chill and hang out as a band. Obviously we are looking very forward to the gig, certainly also because we shall be performing once again with Forsaken and Nomad Son… a guaranteed massive doom metal night for Gozo!! Xtreme Metal Assault festival – 2012

Dawn of Anguish is thrilled to once again be part of the XMA festival!

Time: Doors open 4pm; 1st band 5pm
Entrance: €15

After the thrill of the 2010 XMA festival, the band unfortunately could not make it to last year’s edition due to having most of our efforts being diverted into the recording process. This year, however, we are pleased to once again have the opportunity to share the stage with so many of our country’s heavy metal bands, a number of which we are also glad to call our friends. Thanks also goes to the event organizer for the continuation of what has become one of Malta’s not to be missed events in the local metal community.
